Tien Kung Omni, a humanoid robot, won the 400-meter small-group final at the second World Humanoid Robot Games in 45.66 seconds -- but its unusual "shy run" may be what people remember. Leaning forward with both hands near its face, the robot's signature style was not programmed by its developers. Instead, reinforcement learning in simulation led it to discover the quirky running form on its own. #HumanoidRobotGames #Trending
