Robots and 3,100 mountain steps: Who will conquer Mount Taishan?

The inaugural China Media Group (CMG) World Robot Mount Taishan Climbing Competition kicks off on November 2 in Tai'an, east China's Shandong Province. Robots from around the world have gathered at the foot of Mount Taishan to take on a grueling real-world mountain arena.

Tackling an ascent of over 3,100 stone steps with a 600-meter elevation gain, each team brings a unique technological approach to navigating the treacherous terrain – resembling a high-stakes duel among kung fu masters.

How will these cutting-edge machines adapt, navigate and ultimately conquer one of China's most iconic peak trails? #coolchina #robot
