This Phone Is Illegal In America... So I Got One

This phone isn't sold in the United States, and I might be the first YouTuber in America to get one. The Honor Robot Phone has an actual motorized gimbal built into the camera module, and it does things no iPhone or Galaxy can do.

I unboxed it, set it up, tested the gimbal tracking, talked to its Chinese AI assistant, raced it against the iPhone 17 Pro Max in action mode, and then put my SIM card in it to daily drive it for the next few weeks.

Specs and features covered:
- Motorized gimbal camera with manual slide-open lens cover
- 200MP camera used for selfies instead of the standard front camera
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
- 120W super fast charging
- Dual speakers, in-display fingerprint reader, dedicated camera button
- Gimbal subject tracking and joystick control
- MagicOS with China-locked AI features

Should the Honor Robot Phone go head to head in the next Ultimate Phone League against the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the rest of the flagships? Drop a comment and let me know.

Subscribe so you don't miss the daily driver update after a few weeks with it.
