Imagine waking up beside a beautiful river, surrounded by colorful autumn mountains, under a clear blue sky.
Welcome to Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, South Korea!
I spent 2 peaceful days and 1 night camping along the beautiful Seom River (섬강), one of Korea's charming riverside destinations.
This place has everything a camper could wish for: beautiful autumn scenery, a peaceful river, colorful mountains, clean and well-maintained paved camping areas, and even convenient restroom facilities.
But there's something even more special about camping in Hoengseong…
It's famous for **Korean Hanwoo Beef**, one of Korea's most delicious premium beef varieties! 🥩
Enjoying delicious Korean beef BBQ surrounded by nature, with the river flowing nearby and autumn colors all around — this is what makes camping in Korea so special.
No complicated plans. Just nature, good food, fresh air, and a peaceful moment away from everyday life.
