Gaza peace deal: Will Hamas really lay down its weapons?

Donald Trump has met with his cabinet at Camp David after claiming his Board of Peace has reached a ceasefire agreement that would see Hamas completely disarm in Gaza.

The US president says the proposed deal also includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces. Israel says it will only do so if Hamas does put down its weapons, while Hamas says any disarmament would be conditional on a permanent end to the fighting.
