UK cuts military exercises despite warning public to prepare for war

News24 host James Macpherson questions the UK government's decision to cut military exercises over budget constraints while warning the public to prepare for the possibility of war.

“You have to wonder about the UK Labor Party. At the same time that they're warning the public to prepare for the possibility of war, they've said they're cutting back on military exercises due to budgetary constraints,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Their net debt is three trillion pounds.

“So how do you think the British public might feel about unelected Prime Minister Andy Burnham floating the idea of an official apology for the slave trade and opening up official talks with Caribbean nations about recompense?”
