I create tiaras using two different techniques.

One is soldered tiaras, made by cutting and soldering brass and silver rods together. The other is wire tiaras, created by weaving together pre-plated metal components.

My soldered tiaras have always been known for their quality and craftsmanship. Since all the connections and finishing are done through soldering, they can be acid-cleaned, replated, and restored.

But I've always felt that traditional wire tiaras had certain limitations.

Because they're made with pre-plated materials, the plating can lose its shine or become discolored during the weaving process. In some cases, adhesives or double-sided tape are also needed to secure stones and finish connections.

Personally, I don't believe relying heavily on adhesives is the best approach when creating metal jewelry intended to last.

Over time, adhesives can weaken, causing stones to come loose or connections to become unstable. They also make acid cleaning, replating, and restoration much more difficult.

No matter how beautiful the design or how expensive the materials, I believe a piece of jewelry has limitations if it can't be properly repaired or restored over time.

So, after years of experimenting and refining my techniques, I've finally developed a new way to make wire tiaras!

This new method preserves the delicate, handcrafted beauty of wirework while eliminating the need for adhesives entirely.

Not a single drop of glue!

By incorporating traditional metalsmithing techniques, I've made the connections and finishing much stronger. And instead of working with pre-plated components, the entire tiara is now plated only after all the metalwork is complete.

The result is a cleaner finish, better shine, and significantly improved durability.

Most importantly, these wire tiaras can now be cleaned, acid-treated, replated, and restored!

Their finish can also be changed from platinum-tone to gold, black rhodium, rose gold, and more.

The process is far more complicated and time-consuming than before, but the improvement in quality makes it absolutely worthwhile.

My goal has never been to create accessories that are worn once and forgotten.

I want to create pieces that can be maintained, restored, and treasured for a lifetime.

And now, my wire tiaras have evolved into premium costume tiaras. 🤍

Next weekend, I'll be introducing several newly created premium wire tiaras on Instagram.

Can't wait to show you! 🤍
