Once in a while, I come across a place in Seoul with stunning scenery, just a 30-minute bus ride from downtown. In this video, I explore one of those hidden gems. I make my way through Hongji-dong, Sinyeong-dong, and parts of the famous Buam-dong, and I'm surprised by how few people are there considering the area's natural beauty and fascinating historical sites. No matter how many neighborhoods I explore, Seoul never stops surprising me.
Professor David Mason is a regular guest on the channel and one of Korea's leading experts on its cultural and spiritual heritage.
