The official music video for "Салгашгүй/Inalienable/不可分割" is FINALLY HERE! 🎬🔥
Throughout my career, I've collaborated with artists from over 10 different countries. My endless drive to clash and fuse different ethnic cultures and music styles actually started back in my university days when I was a backpacker. And my very first backpacking destination ever? Mongolia.
There was no way I was going to leave Mongolia off my musical map. Stepping onto this vast land this time was all about fulfilling a long-cherished dream of a true Mongolian collaboration. We finally made it happen!
But fulfilling this dream was a brutal 3-year journey. Two years ago, we flew to Mongolia just to scout locations and do ground research, but the sheer distance and logistical nightmares made it almost impossible. We faced so many roadblocks that this project was delayed time and time again.
But we didn't give up. This time, our Malaysian crew flew all the way across the globe, united with our incredible Mongolian partners, and shot the entire music video in one go. Executing a cross-border production of this scale was insanely difficult, but we conquered it.
Through this MV, you will witness the breathtaking, majestic landscapes of Mongolia. The rivers, the mountains, the raw earth—it is undeniably one of the top 3 most beautiful countries in the world to me.
This track is an epic Trap and traditional Mongolian fusion that reflects on the legendary conquests of the Mongol Empire. But deeper than the heavy beats and the throat singing, it is a reflection on the illusions of borders. History shows us that empires rise and fall, and territories constantly shift. The bloody reality of war teaches us that no land is forever "inalienable." At the end of the day, true greatness isn't about how much land you conquer, but the pursuit of world peace.
