NYC descends into chaos as ICE shooting ignites violent protests

ICE agents shot a man in Marble Hill, the Bronx, during an attempted detainment, while his five-year-old child was reportedly in the back seat but was not physically harmed.

Following the incident, crowds gathered outside the hospital where the man was being treated. As tensions rose, some demonstrations escalated into unrest, and the NYPD struggled to maintain control.

Authorities later released body camera footage capturing the chaotic aftermath, including police response at the scene and interactions with bystanders.
