Climbing trees with arboriculture intern Chlo Gold

Chlo Gold is the Hunnewell intern in Arboriculture at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University. Over the summer, they learned how to climb trees in order to broaden their skillset and care for the Arboretum's living collection. A graduate of Smith College, Gold hopes to pursue research on tree canopies in the future.

The Hunnewell Internship program brings college students and recent graduates to the arboretum during the summer to learn more about plant sciences and receive on-the-job training in preparation for future careers in public horticulture, landscape management, and curation.

The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University is a living museum of trees that is both a Boston park and a research and teaching collection. It's open everyday and free to visit.
