このワークショップは、米国、英国、日本、およびその他の国における企業犯罪、コーポレートガバナンスやコンプライアンスに関する諸問題について、現役の当局担当者、実務家と研究者とが垣根を越えて議論するグローバルな学びのプラットフォームです。

本年は、企業犯罪の執行状況に関連する世界的動向、企業内弁護士の視点からみたコンプライアンス・プログラム等の課題、認知科学と企業犯罪、いわゆるコンプライアンス・ディフェンス（実効的なコンプライアンス・プログラムの整備を法人責任における抗弁とする設計）の是非、人権・ESGのリスク管理、ガバナンスにおけるテクノロジーの活用といったトピックを取り上げます。

This workshop serves as a global platform for learning and dialogue, bringing together current government officials, practitioners, and academics to discuss issues relating to corporate crime, corporate governance, and compliance in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other jurisdictions, transcending traditional boundaries between their respective fields.

This year, the workshop will explore a range of topics, including global trends in corporate crime enforcement; challenges surrounding compliance programs from the perspective of in-house counsel; cognitive science and corporate crime; the merits of the so-called ""compliance defense"" (i.e., a legal framework under which the implementation of an effective compliance program may serve as a defense to corporate liability); human rights and ESG risk management; and the use of technology in corporate governance.
