This husband-and-wife research team discusses how a little bit of math can help you with medical decisions and, along the way, introduces cutting-edge transplant advances. Dr. Sommer Gentry is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She co-directs the Center for Surgical and Transplant Applied Research (C-STAR) at NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Dorry Segev is a Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He is also the Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery and Surgical Sciences and he co-directs the Center for Surgical and Transplant Applied Research (C-STAR) at NYU Langone Health.
