"Mountains! I whip my swift horse, glued to my saddle. I turn my head in surprise, the sky is only three feet three away."
These lines are from Three Poems in Sixteen Characters, written by Mao Zedong during the Long March in Guizhou Province.
Ninety years later, CGTN digital reporter Mi Sutong retraces part of the route, from the Wujiang River to Liping, meeting young people who are finding their own paths today.
Dong embroidery artisan Lu Yongjiang says, "As long as I can still stand, I won’t give up on this craft."
Zhou Wei, a guide at the Houchang Meeting Memorial Hall, puts it another way: "Every generation has its own Long March, and every generation has its own path to walk."
From traditional craft to grassroots work, what does the Long March mean to a new generation?
