US President Donald Trump has declared Republicans will win the midterms, and he knows how to win as he prepares for a major convention in Dallas later this week.
The Republican Party will hold its first-ever midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, later this week, with President Trump to headline the two-day event.
Even though President Trump isn’t on the ballot, he’s expected to make the campaign about his record and what he wants as his legacy.
“Happy Labor Day to all, including the radical left lunatics, communists, and Dumocrats who will do anything possible to destroy our country,” he said in a post on Truth Social.
“These deranged people, after fighting for 10 years, should finally acknowledge that your favourite President (ME!) knows how to win! They should be exhausted by now but, sadly, they’re not.
“They’re going to give it one last shot at ruining America, but we’re not going to let that happen. We’re going to win the midterms, big, and save America.”
