Prime minister Andy Burnham fought back tears during an emotional party conference speech, paying tribute to his late father Roy Burnham and pledging major reforms to preserve the United Kingdom.

The PM vowed to fight to save the union, saying Brexit had done "more harm than good" and made radical policy pledges on social care and the pensions triple lock.
