Pentagon upheaval after Driscoll resignation | DW News

The resignation of US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has added to uncertainty inside the Pentagon. Seen as a champion of military modernization and reportedly at odds with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Driscoll leaves a vacuum at the top of the Army, which now lacks both a Senate-confirmed civilian secretary and military chief.
