Rise in hospital stays for children with tooth decay

More than 56,000 children and young people had teeth extracted in English hospitals, with severe decay accounting for nearly 34,000 procedures.

Dentists are warning of a growing child tooth decay crisis, with experts pointing to excessive sugar consumption.
