롯데타워에서 열리고있는
국주전에 찾아오셨어요

사실 멋진신세계 드라마에도 나온
복주머니 가방은
선생님과의 인연에서 시작되었어요.

선생님이 가지고 계시던
빈티지 한복 원단으로
다기 파우치를 만들어 달라는 요청에서
한복원단을 사용하기 시작했고
그 예쁜 원단으로
복주머니 형태의 가방을 만들고싶어
제작하게 되었어요.

그렇게 계획에는 없던 복주머니가방은
처음에는 많은 사랑을 받지 못했어요
그래서 "이 가방은 실패한 건가?"
생각했던 적이 있었어요.

그런데 시간이 지나면서
하나둘 이 가방을 알아봐 주시는 분들이 생겼고
지금은 베스티를
대표하는 가방 중 하나가 되었어요.

오늘 처음 이 가방의 시작을
함께했던 선생님과
롯데타워에 놓인 가방을 함께 보고 있으니
참 많은 생각이 들었어요.

그때 선생님이 원단을
제공해주지 않았다면,
제가 이 가방을
만들어볼 기회도 없었을 거예요.

하나의 작은 계기가
지금의 베스티에
이렇게 큰 이야기가 될 줄 몰랐어요.

처음 시작할 수 있게 해주시고
늘 좋은 마음으로
응원해주시는 허은순 선생님께
오늘 다시 한 번
감사한 마음을 전하고 싶어요.

came to visit Gukjujeon,
currently being held at Lotte Tower.

In fact, the lucky pouch bag
that was also featured in the drama *A Wonderful New World*
began through my connection with her.

She asked me to make
a tea pouch using
the vintage hanbok fabric she had,
and that was how I first began
working with hanbok fabric.

The fabric was so beautiful
that I wanted to create
a pouch-shaped bag with it,
and that is how this bag came to life.

This lucky pouch bag,
which was never part of the original plan,
did not receive much attention at first.

There were times when I wondered,
“Did this bag fail?”

But as time passed,
more and more people began to notice it,
and now it has become
one of BESTY’s signature bags.

Today, standing with the teacher
who was there at the very beginning
and looking at this bag
displayed at Lotte Tower,
brought back so many thoughts.

If she had not shared
that fabric with me back then,
I may never have had
the chance to create this bag.

I never imagined
that one small opportunity
would grow into
such an important story for BESTY.

She gave me the chance
to take that first step
and has always supported me
with such warmth.

Today, once again,
I want to express
my heartfelt gratitude
to Ms. Heo Eun-soon.
