Anthropic researcher says AI ‘could kill all humans’ and other top stories | Global News Podcast

A top safety researcher at the AI giant Anthropic has warned that artificial intelligence is advancing so quickly, he believes there is a greater than 10% chance it "could kill all humans" within the next decade. Evan Hubinger made the comments in a post on X, responding to a colleague who had quit Anthropic. That colleague, Jacob Coxon, wrote that “no other human activity poses this level of danger”.
