Playmaker of the Match: Scrojo

About the Playmaker:

Born and raised on the beaches of North Coastal San Diego County, Scrojo was kicked out of Otis College of Art and Design after just six weeks and fell into freelance design, working in the surf and skate industries, independent coffee houses, and most notably, the Belly Up Tavern. He designed his first concert poster at just 19 and continues to create for the iconic venue 40 years later.

Scrojo's Inspo:

Scrojo’s SDFC designs are inspired by growing up in a military town and his family’s deep-rooted history of Allied Forces service. His family legacy includes a grandfather who fought in the European theater during WWII, a grandfather-in-law who served in the Pacific during WWII, and another grandfather who served in the British Navy during WWI.
