Rockstar was NOT expecting yinz to pull this one off so soon
The PS5 version of GTA 5 is now playable on a PC through emulation at 60 frames per second
To put it into perspective - this was a massive jump forward after PS5 emulators spent loads of time not being able to make it past the very beginning splash screen, but there’s still a catch
KytyPS5 is able to run the game ONLY for a few minutes before crashing altogether - usually RIGHT before the police that nobody wants to shoot at start interrupting the opening mission
But BECAUSE of these advancements, the hopium online is STRONG that we’ll be looking at a version of GTA 6 playable on PC in at least some capacity since there’s no real news about the non-console version - but seeing as to how long 5 took, I wouldn’t hold your breath
