This old man, he played one
He played knick-knack on my thumb
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played two
He played knick-knack on my shoe
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played three
He played knick-knack on my knee
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played four
He played knick-knack on my door
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

One and two and three and four
Stick around to find out more...

This old man, he played five
He played knick-knack and danced the jive
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

I was crossing the road just the other day
(Do you need some help?)
I said "no way!"
I can cross by myself, I know I look old
But now the beats are droppin' there's a story to be told
I eat my greens, exercise most days
(Did you do dance lessons?)
Yeah, I joined the craze!
The rhumba, the salsa, the cha-cha as well
It's kept me feeling young
That's the story I tell
Keep your body moving
Don't let the dust settle
Keep moving fast with pedal to the metal
I know this old man's gotta get to number six
But did I ever mention I can flip and do the splits?

This old man, he played six
He played knick-knack on my sticks
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played seven
He played knick-knack with his friend Bevan
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played eight
He played knick-knack on my gate
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

One two three four five six seven eight
What happens next? Just you wait

This old man, he played nine
He played knick-knack on my spine
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man, he played ten
He played knick-knack once again
With a knick-knack, paddywhack
Give a dog a bone
This old man came rolling home

This old man came rolling home!
