News24 host Sharri Markson lashes out at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for accepting a Global Citizen Award, arguing international praise ignores deep domestic anger over Australia's cost-of-living crisis.
“The economy is deteriorating, with rising interest rates, sticky inflation, the cost of living crushing household budgets, while wages and productivity are falling,” Ms Markson said.
“His government's inaction and his personal leadership failures led to the deadliest terror attack on Australian soil.
“All he's done since is punish farmers and recreational shooters instead of dealing with the underlying issues of radical Islamism, terrorism and antisemitism.”
