Just Look! Don’t Touch Dangerous Things~

There are so many interesting things around us, but some things are only for looking, not touching! Look, look, look with your eyes, but keep your little hands away from dangerous things. A hot stove goes sizzle, sizzle, sizzle! It may look interesting, but don’t touch! A sharp knife goes chop, chop, chop when grown-ups use it, but little hands should stay far away. Snip, snip! Scissors can be sharp too, so always ask a grown-up for help.

What’s that on the wall? An electrical outlet! Buzz, buzz! Never put your fingers or toys inside. And what about that colorful bottle under the sink? Glug, glug, splash! Cleaning liquids may look pretty, but they are not toys or drinks. Just look and leave them alone.

Be careful outside too! A broken piece of glass can go crack, crunch, and a thorny plant can go prick, prick! Ouch! A hot barbecue grill goes sizzle, pop, hiss, and a campfire goes crackle, crackle, whoosh! They may be fun to watch, but stay a safe distance away.

If you see medicine, matches, lighters, tools, batteries, wires, or anything sharp, hot, or unfamiliar, remember our simple rule: Stop, stop, stop! Hands back! Just look, don’t touch! If you’re curious, ask a grown-up first. Learning to stay safe can be fun. Look with your eyes, think with your head, and keep your hands safe. Just look! Don’t touch dangerous things!
