August 15, 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Korea’s independence—a day of deep significance for our nation.

To honor this milestone, the city of Paju in Gyeonggi Province will host an Independence Day event under the theme “80 Years of Liberation: From Memory to the Future.”
I had the privilege of creating eighty hibiscus blooms, which will be featured at the photo zone in front of the event hall.

Each flower was crafted with care and gratitude, in remembrance of the countless independence activists whose names have been lost to history.
Through this work, I hope to pay tribute to their sacrifice and invite you to join me in remembering this meaningful day by making your own hibiscus flowers.

The templates used in this video will be distributed free of charge.
However, to prevent uncontrolled sharing, I will send them as before—please email me first, and I will reply with the file attached.

Just as the hibiscus holds deep meaning for Korea, I would love to learn about flowers in your own country that carry symbolic or commemorative significance.
