What if movie science could exist? | Sara Davis | TEDxFrancis Holland School Sloane Square

Have you ever watched a science-fiction movie and wondered just how much of it could actually be possible? Have you ever seen a cool invention on screen and wondered if someone had managed to make something similar in reality? This talk aims to explore to what extent some of the core aspects of science-fiction movies could be re-created in real life, including AI and robots, aliens and space travel, and biologically enhanced and mutated beings. Sara Davis is a student in the Lower Sixth studying Mathematics, Chemistry and French. She hopes to study Chemistry or Linguistics at university, and is particularly interested in real world applications and possibilities.
