Flood - Lyric Video | Hillsong Worship

Flood - Lyric Video by Hillsong Worship

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” — Psalm 23:6 (NIV)

‘Flood’ is a declaration of God's unfailing love, grace and faithfulness through every season of life. Inspired by the promise of Psalm 23, this song reminds us that His goodness and mercy are always with us, and we can trust Him to lead us in every circumstance.

Our prayer is that as you sing these words, you would be reminded of the depth of God's love for you, allowing His grace to wash away fear and His faithfulness to strengthen your trust in Him.

VERSE 1:
Father
You drew me from the clay
Creator
In Your image I was made
Show me
The mysteries of love
Lead me
Let Your will be done

VERSE 2:
Jesus
I call upon Your Name
Saviour
Cover me in grace
Hear me
I come to You in faith
Speak Lord
Come and have Your way

CHORUS:
Your love is like a flood
Your grace is like a wave
Your faithfulness and mercy
Follow me all of my days
Your love is like a flood
It washes fear away
Your faithfulness and mercy
Follow me all of my days

VERSE 3:
Spirit
Search me from within
Hide me
In the shadow of Your wings
Rise up
Stir in me I pray
Move now
Come and have Your way

BRIDGE:
All my life
You’ve made a way
I stand upon Your Word
I’m trusting in Your Name
All my life
You never change
I stand upon Your Word
I’m trusting in Your Name
