줄거리 : 27세의 여성잡지 여기자인 희원은 과거 교편생활을 하던 시절의 인연으로, 화가가 된 민승우와 재회한다. 희원은 소년다운 순수를 잃지않은 중년남자의 매력에 만남이 더해질수록 끌리게 된다. 그의 암울했던 고아원 시절의 과거를 알게된 후엔, 부모의 성화로 만난, 재력과 지성의 소유자인 송윤식의 청혼은 오히려 승우에 대한 신실한 사랑의 확신만 갖게한다. 그러나 승우는 희원의 행복과, 가장인 자신의 윤리를 지키기 위해 도불을 결심한다. 엇갈리는 만남 끝에, 희원은 출발 직전의 송별회장에서 승우와 빠져나와 마지막 둘만의 시간을 가지게 된다. 그러나 승우는 희원의 갈구를 접어둔 채, 호텔에서 취해 쓰러진 그녀의 집에 전화를 걸어준 후, 비행장으로 향한다. 얼마 후, 희원은 한 평범한 남자와 결혼식을 올린다.

SYNOPSIS : Hi-won is a news reporter for a magazine. She runs into Min Seung-wu who was once her lover when she was a teacher. Hi-won is attracted by Seung-wu's charm but her parents do not approve of their relationship for his past of misfortune having grown up an orphan. She is proposed to marry Song Yun-sik whom she was fixed up by a matchmaker but that only assures her of her love for Seung-wu. Seung-wu decides to move to France for her sake and for his family, cherishing his memory of the time they spent together on the night of his farewell party. As he heads to the airport, she marries an ordinary man.
