Storage worries and supply failures: Preparing for the next energy crisis | Ed Conway explains

As winter approaches, Britain’s gas storage levels are at decade low, while growing reliance on imports and unrest in the Middle East threaten supplies.

Sky’s economics and data editor Ed Conway goes inside a previously unseen emergency planning exercise to reveal what would happen if Britain ran out of gas – including how decisions over power outages are made and who could be cut off first.

Ed becomes the first journalist to film inside National Gas headquarters, the nerve centre of Britain’s gas system, and visits key terminals where gas flows in and out of the country. He also hears a stark warning about the risks posed by dwindling gas storage.
