붓 들고 갔다가 톰 크루즈 배우님과 도장까지 찍고 왔습니다😂
그런데 웃으며 인터뷰를 하다가, 마음이 뭉클해졌어요.

영화 〈디거〉 내한 행사에서 “파느냐, 죽느냐”를 한글의 붓획으로 풀어내고, 저의 시그니처 원으로 마무리했습니다.

스크린으로 만나던 배우가 제 붓끝을 바라보고, 공연이 끝나자 자리에서 일어나 박수를 보내주던 순간.
영상을 다시 봐도 아직 꿈처럼 느껴집니다.

함께 도장을 찍어 작품을 완성하고 나눈 이야기에서 가장 오래 마음에 남은 건 ‘연습’이었습니다.

한 장면을 위해 거듭 훈련하는 배우의 시간과
한 획을 위해 수없이 붓을 드는 시간.
하는 일은 달라도 그 시간을 대하는 마음은 닮아 있더라고요.

붓을 들고 걸어온 길에서 이런 만남이 기다리고 있을 줄은 몰랐습니다.
말이 달라도 붓끝에 담은 마음은 전해질 수 있다는 것. 그날의 박수와 대화를 오래도록 간직하겠습니다.

I came with a brush—and ended up sharing a stamp with Tom Cruise! 😂
But somewhere between the smiles and our conversation, I found myself deeply moved.

At the Korean event for Digger, I brought “Dig or Die” to life through Korean calligraphy, finishing with my signature circle. Watching him stand and applaud my performance still feels like a dream.

After completing the artwork with our stamps, we talked about our creative work. What stayed with me most was our shared dedication to practice: an actor training for a scene, an artist returning to the brush for a single stroke.

I never imagined my path as a calligraphy artist would lead to this moment. It reminded me that the heart behind a brushstroke can reach beyond language.
