Many assume wildlife incursions onto golf greens are accidental wanderings driven by disorientation. This footage shows the opposite: deliberate habituation and opportunistic foraging. The fox approaches across open turf in full daylight, largely desensitized to human shouting. Habituation develops when animals learn that maintained fairways offer safe sightlines and low immediate danger. Instead of fleeing the confrontation, the animal calmly assesses the distance, executes the grab mid-stride, and immediately vectors toward tree cover to safeguard its find.
