Al Qadsiah move TOP of the RSL table 🔝 | Powered by Toyota

Coach Brendan Rodgers opted to rest Mexican forward Julian Quinones in the midst of a busy period but it was no problem for Al Qadsiah who were able to power through. Mateo Retegui missed from the penalty spot but made up for it, hammering home after being set-up by Tijjani Reijnders. Mohammed Abu Al Shamat added the second and Alimamy Gory's strike for the visitors proved too little too late.

The 2-1 victory sends Al Qadsiah top of the table with 22 points after 9 games.

Youngster Ali Diabate made his RSL debut for Al Qadsiah but the 19-year-old Ivorian was taken-off with an injury.
