Lyrics:
WHEN ICELAND CHANGED THE PLAN
--------------------------------------------------------------

Coffee in a paper cup.
Morning radio.
Another Monday
lined up
nice and slow.
Keys turn.
Engines wake.
Same old road...
or so we think.
One glance
through the windshield—
and suddenly...
don't blink.

Mountains
don't ask permission.
Rivers
never wait.
Some places
change your schedule...
before
you know you're late.

I was driving
to tomorrow...
Iceland
stole today.
Every road
became a question.
Every mile
ran away.
Leave the clock
inside the dashboard.
Leave the meetings
where they are.
Some mornings
aren't made
for offices...
They're made
for who we are.

A jeep climbs
through black volcanoes.
Someone else
follows rivers north.
A camper
finds an empty coastline.
A tiny hatchback
chases storms.
No one knows
the others' names.
Still somehow...
we're all
following
the same invitation.

Farðu.
(Go.)
Vindurinn veit.
(The wind knows.)
**Enginn vegur
er rangur.**
(No road is the wrong one.)
**Í dag
tilheyrir
landið okkur...
og við
því.**
*(Today the land belongs to us...
and we belong to it.)*

Every waterfall
keeps laughing.
Every mountain
changes names.
Every detour
becomes the story
that we'll tell
for years.
Tomorrow
still remembers us.
Today
belongs
to Iceland.

Engine off.
Wind begins.
Best meeting
I never had.
