50 Years Strong: The Class That Changed Dartmouth

Fifty years ago, the women of the Class of 1976 graduated as Dartmouth's first fully matriculated female students.

Their presence transformed Dartmouth by expanding who belonged here and by reshaping what the institution could become.

Today, women are leading across Dartmouth as students, faculty, researchers, coaches, alums, and institutional leaders. Their impact is woven into every corner of our campus and community.

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic class, we honor the changemakers who walked through newly opened doors and made Dartmouth better for every generation that followed.
