Watch live coverage of Lindsay Clancy’s motions hearing on Monday, November 2, in Plymouth Superior Court, as attorneys argue over whether her case can proceed to another trial.

Following September’s mistrial, Clancy’s defense is seeking dismissal on double jeopardy grounds and an inquiry into the lone holdout juror. The Commonwealth opposes dismissal, arguing that the judge properly declared a mistrial after jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict. A prosecution request for a gag order is also among the pending motions.

Clancy is charged with killing her three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, at their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. Her defense argued she was not criminally responsible because of postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors maintained she planned the killings and understood her actions were wrong.
