[PNU Department of Electrical Engineering, Team Tidyboy]

At RoboCup 2025 in Salvador, Brazil,
PNU’s robotics team Tidyboy competed
as the only team from Korea
in the RoboCup@Home League
and claimed a dominant first-place finish.
The team returned to the world stage
at RoboCup 2026 and secured
a second consecutive world title
in the home service category.

Team Tidyboy is led by Professor
Seung-Joon Yi, who serves as
a member of the AI expert group
of the government-led
K-Humanoid Alliance.

At the heart of
the team’s achievement was Anubis,
a humanoid robot developed entirely
in-house by the PNU team.
By successfully completing
all eight competition tasks
Tidyboy set a new record for
the highest score
in the competition’s history.
