Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has vowed to slash the tobacco excise by 80 per cent to crack down on organised crime.
“If we are to smash organised crime … in this country, we need to get the price of legal cigarettes down towards parity with illegal,” Mr Taylor told News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
