Uganda's new king: The coronation that sparked a royal dispute | DW News

Uganda's traditional Tooro kingdom has crowned a new king. But members of the royal family dispute his right to the crown. After the death of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, they insist the late monarch left behind a son and a will naming a different heir. DW News Africa's Christine Mhundwa looks at how a Ugandan journalist became the new king of Tooro, and why this royal dispute is far from over.
