Ep.43 [K-STAGE] Play 《King Lear and Malttugi》
《King Lear and Malttugi》 is an original play that fuses the Western classical tragedy King Lear with Malttugi, an iconic character from traditional Korean mask dance and madangnori traditional outdoor performance. By layering the satire and humor characteristic of traditional Korean entertainment onto the tragic narrative surrounding the throne and the pursuit of power, the play explores the themes of family, love, and truth from a fresh perspective.
