Dew is not enough.
After realizing that his first dew collector cannot provide a reliable supply of water, Jin leaves the beach and begins exploring deeper into the island.
The ground gradually changes.
Darker soil.
Thicker vegetation.
More moisture beneath the surface.
Using nothing more than a naturally found wooden stick, Jin begins a careful test dig.
The deeper he goes, the darker and damper the soil becomes.
Then, after waiting quietly, a tiny amount of water slowly begins to seep into the bottom of the hole.
But finding water does not mean the problem is solved.
The water is cloudy.
The soil walls are unstable.
And it is still not ready to drink.
