Design Your Own Future | Haibo Xiao | TEDxShanghai Singapore Intl School

From a small village in China to architecture, photography, and art, Haibo Xiao shares how he abandoned a future designed by others and began creating one of his own. His journey shows that uncertainty can become the beginning of self-discovery. Haibo Xiao is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and founder of HAIPI STUDIO and LEAZÓN. A graduate of The Bartlett at University College London, his work spans sustainable installations, photography, and art therapy. In his talk, “Design Your Own Future,” Mr. Xiao reflects on leaving architecture to pursue a more authentic creative path, encouraging audiences to design lives guided by purpose rather than expectation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
