Search and rescue efforts are largely winding down following Thursday night’s magnitude-7.0 earthquake in Baqen County, Nagqu City, in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. Emergency response has shifted to resettling displaced residents and getting them the basics.
CGTN reporter Zhou Yixin is on the ground, where crews worked overnight to put up 18 prefabricated shelters and over 50 tents – most of them now wired for electricity – helping villagers stay warm and safe.
