Shrek did Obsession first 😳

Before Nikki and Bear, there were Gingy and Sugar. In Scared Shrekless, Gingy creates Sugar because he wants someone who will love him forever, only for that love to become way too intense and obsessive. What starts as the perfect relationship quickly turns into a nightmare when Sugar refuses to let him go. Watching it now, the whole dynamic feels strangely similar to Obsession just played as a dark Shrek joke years earlier.
