A: Oh, and don’t forget we’re visiting your grandparents this Saturday.

B: Oh, about that -
I don’t think I’m going to go this time.

A: You’re not going? What do you mean you’re not going?

B: It’s just like it sounds.
I’m not going.

A: I don’t understand. Do you have something this weekend?

B: Well, maybe. I mean, we could talk about that too, but that’s besides the point. I’m just saying I don’t want to go.

A: But we said we were going to go this weekend. We visit your grandparents around this time every year.

B: Yeah, I know. I’m just saying I don’t want to go this year.

A: Honey, you’re not making much sense here. Why don’t you want to go?
B: I just don’t feel like going. Do I have to have a reason?

A: Honey, Noah says he’s not coming with us to see your parents this week.

C: What? Why not?

A: He keeps saying he just doesn’t feel like going but I think he’s not telling me something. Could you go talk to him?

C: OK.

C: Hey buddy. So, I talked to your mom. Is there a reason you don’t want to come with us this weekend?

B: Not really.

C: Is there something else you got planned this weekend? It’s OK. You can tell me.

B: No. Not really.
C: You know, if you’ve gotten yourself mixed up in something, you know you can always tell me, right?

B: It’s nothing like that. I promise.
