No, not from other social media platforms, but journalists, authors, and researchers who might be trying to prove that all this time online isn’t healthy for humans in general and younger humans in particular.
In court documents, there was talks of Meta conducting a “Whisper” campaign to seed info to specifically discredit the author of a book that was going to call into question Meta’s business practices.
They were specifically afraid that The Anxious Generation book would get quoted in lawsuits and so an effective way to handle that would be to turn his peers against him.
