First place with zero drivers 🏎🏁

Team Kinetiz, a joint team comprising #NTUsg, UAE technology company K2 and autonomous systems specialist Alp Autonomy, won the world’s first multi-car autonomous race held in Europe

The team won the first place at Italy’s Imola Circuit, finishing ahead of a formidable field of competitors including TUM, PoliMOVE, Constructor and UNIMORE.

This was A2RL's first international race and its first multi-car competition outside Abu Dhabi. Without a driver present, teams had to develop software that can control the car and make split-second decisions on accelerating, braking and steering, while responding to other cars on the track in real time.
