Scientists are warning that AI is the greatest threat to human survival since the invention of nuclear weapons. This talk will explain the reasons why the creation of superhuman AI would be detrimental and what PauseAI and others are trying to do about it. Joseph Miller a PhD student in Machine Learning at the University of Oxford, he is also the founder of Pause AI which advocates for leaders to pause unsafe AI development until real safeguards are put into place.
