■ About the Work
Asia Tap Orchestra is a special Asia Tap Vibe edition of Tap-chestra, a signature repertoire work of Korea Tap Orchestra.
Following the conductor's lead, each dancer contributes a distinct sound, gradually layering individual rhythms to form a tap "orchestra." While one dancer maintains a steady pulse as a human metronome, the conductor guides the dancers in creating new rhythmic combinations on the spot, bringing different sounds together into a unified musical composition.

For this special edition, Korea Tap Orchestra collaborated with selected 2026 Seoul Tap Bootcamp (STB) participants from Japan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, expanding the original work into Asia Tap Orchestra. The performance also invited audience members on stage to take on the role of conductor, extending the collaborative spirit beyond the performers and turning the audience into part of the rhythmic orchestra.
