कनाडा की विदेश मंत्री अनीता आनंद ने कहा है कि उनका देश अमेरिका पर निर्भरता कम करने के लिए व्यापारिक रिश्तों में विविधता लाने की रणनीति पर काम कर रहा है. उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि भारत और कनाडा के बीच व्यापक आर्थिक साझेदारी समझौता इस साल के अंत तक पूरा किया जा सकेगा. आनंद ने दोनों देशों के संबंधों में सुधार और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की दिसंबर में संभावित कनाडा यात्रा का भी स्वागत किया.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand says Canada is working to diversify trade ties and reduce dependence on the United States. She expressed hope that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with India could be concluded by the end of the year and highlighted improving relations between the two countries ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s expected visit to Canada in December.
